Madman Entertainment have just this morning held their anime at the currently on Supanova: Pop Culture Expo in Melbourne. While I have been unable to attend this event (I will in in attendance at the two Queensland Supanova’s however), the company have just announced what they acquired – featuring a number of titles that may be Japanese or Hybrid dub released:
Aquarion Evol
12,000 years have passed in this world, the story of Apollon and Sylvie have become a children’s story called “Skies Of Aquaria”. The “Abductors” Invaders from Altea come to Earth with only one purpose, they invade to harvest humans. DEAVA the Aquaria Academy exists to train men and women to use Aquaria, but they cannot ever merge because of Guize stones, these block an “unholy union” between genders. The story follows Amata and Mikono in their enrollment into DEAVA, and fight the Abductors.
Legend of Legendary Heroes
A war between bordering lands Roland and Estabul has begun. Oreimo (My Little Sister Can’t Be This Cute)
Ore no Imouto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai
Oreimo is an adaptation of Tsukasa Fushimi’s light novel series Ore no Imouto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai. The popular comedic novel series-turned hit anime originally aired in 2010 in Japan. The story follows the daily life of an ordinary high school boy named Kyousuke Kousaka. Kyousuke’s younger sister Kirino is a pretty fashion model, but also hides a dark secret of being an otaku of adult games. Kyousuke is the only person to whom Kirino reveals her hidden obsession and other issues.
Mayo Chiki
Kinjirou Sakamachi has gynophobia (fear of women), due to his violent mother and sister. Subaru Konoe is the butler of his classmate, Kanade Suzutsuki, and has to dress as a male due to butlers having to be men. When Kinjirou discovers Subaru’s secret, Kanade promises to cure Kinjirou of his phobia. Kinjirou and Subaru are forced due to circumstances to spend time together and defend Subaru’s secret while trying to cure Kinjirou’s fear.
BERSERK: THE GOLDEN AGE ARC TRILOGY
Guts, an immensely strong sword-for-hire, has little direction in his life, simply fighting one battle after the next.
