CrunchyRoll to Stream Inu X Boku Secret Service This Season

While I did the announcement about Sentai Filmworks acquiring the license to this show, I never actually got around to writing up the CrunchyRoll simulcast announcement. Inu X Boku Secret Service (or Inu X Boku SS) has been announced for simulcasting under the CrunchyRoll digital media platform. The stream is set to go live today at 11:30AM PST, with future episodes to be aired every Thursday at the same time. The series is set to be aired in a number of territories including the USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand and South America.

Crunchyroll senior brand manager Keith Kawamura had this to say:

We’ve seen pairings like this before throughout a myriad of different anime titles, but what will distinguish this story from all the others is the unique pairing with the confining setting that will force its characters to truly develop along with the story.  It will be very entertaining to see how closely it follows the manga and developing its own personal voice.

In the heavily guarded building known as, ‘Ayakashi Kan,’ only those who have undergone a strict review can reside there while being accompanied by a Secret Service agent (SS). Although Ririchiyo – daughter of the owner – refused the SS officer in charge of her security, until she discovered his true nature…
