Little Busters! Perfect Edition Preview Video
Although specifics have not yet been shared, an announcement made on the VisualArts Facebook Page has indicated that the Japanese visual novel company have plans to release an official English release of both Little Busters! and Tomoyo After ~It’s a Wonderful Life~ in the future.
These visual novels will have translations based on previously created fan translations, albeit with some parts modified or re-translated. According to VisualArts, these fan translations will be removed from the servers of the parties who created them.
In the announcement, VisualArts also indicated that other KEY visual novels could be published internationally provided there is fan support: “Please support us to get more titles from Key, like Harmonia, to all our fans outside Japan!“. This announcement follows a successful KickStarter held by Sekai Project for CLANNAD earlier this year, with them raising $541,161 from 5,819 backers.
As both titles have 18+ and All-Ages versions, it is currently unknown what age demographic Little Busters! and Tomoyo After ~It’s a Wonderful Life~ will be available to.
