After working on other Nitroplus visual novels including Deus Machina Demonbane, Saya no Uta and Steins;Gate, the team at visual novel publisher Jast USA have today confirmed that they have successfully localized and launched one of their works to the international market. This is another 18+ eroge known as Hanachirasu, which is available as a digital download through the Jast USA website and a physical edition available via J-List.
Hanachirasu is a tale about modern day Japan built upon an alternate ending of World War II that saw no nuclear weapons. The United States invaded the southernmost island of Kyushu while the Soviet Union siezed Hokkaido, reducing Japan its central islands. The years that followed created an insulated Japan, banning evil Western influences and embracing martial arts and swordplay as expressions of the “pure” Japanese spirit. In the middle of this dark world comes the story of Takeda Akane, a master swordsman who has only one purpose in life.
