Visual Novel Sunrider Academy to Be Available via Steam Early Access Beginning Today

-

While the game won’t be available for at least a few more hours, it has been confirmed by developer Love in Space that their Slice-of-Life Comedy/Simulation visual novel Sunrider Academy will be available via Steam Early Access later today (Monday, 12th January 2015). A recent tweet by the developer has confirmed that the initial Early Access release will give gamers access to the “common route”, with the “Sola Route” to be available soon.

If you are curious about what to expect, a demo of Sunrider Academy was made available via Steam at the end of last year. You can check it out for yourself HERE.

Sunrider Academy is seemingly a spin-off or otherwise sequel to Sunrider: Mask of Arcadius which was released last year as a tactical RPG / visual novel. As before, Love in Space has served as developer while the team at Sekai Project handled publishing.

Synopsis

You are Kayto Shields, an ordinary man thrown into an extraordinary adventure. It was only his first day as the vice president of the Sunrider Academy student council when the unreasonable class president appointed him to be the school club manager. “These clubs cause nothing but trouble,” she said. “I’m appointing you to take charge and fix them up by the end of the year!”

Add to that another completely unreasonable bet with his little sister that he’ll get a girlfriend by the end of the year, and Kayto’s school life already seems hectic! But that’s not even the worst of it! Kayto soon learns that the captains of each of the clubs he’s supposed to manage have serious issues of their own. Surrounded by girls lacking any common sense, his wacky days at Sunrider Academy begin!

You will take control of Kayto as he carefully manages both his student life, and his responsibilities as club manager.
