Higurashi no Naku Koro ni on Steam to Feature New Character Artwork by Kurosaki (Caramelbox)

by SamJuly 4, 2014

As previously announced, MangaGamer have plans to re-release Higurashi no Naku Koro ni via the Steam service for PC’s. It has this evening been confirmed that they will be releasing Higurashi by the chapter/arc, with plans to release the first arc containing an all-new localization by the end of the year.

In other news, the re-release will also receive new character artwork which is more in-line with what was present in the PlayStation 2 / DS ports of Higurashi than the original. These sprites are being illustrated by Kurosaki from Caramelbox, who previously worked on Uhou Renka.
