JAST USA Releases Aselia The Eternal 1Distributor of visual novels Jast USA have recently announced that one of their first All-Age VN’s – Aselia The Eternal have been printed and have/are being shipped out. Aselia the Eternal was a translation collaboration between Jast USA and Dakkodango Translations of this title originally produced and released by Japanese group Xuse. Pre-orders are now closed on the title but you can now put orders in through either the JAST USA website or J-List.

The following is a brief blurb about the games storyline and gameplay systems:

Aselia the Eternal is the story of Takamine Yuuto, a young man who finds himself and his little sister Kaori transported to the fantasy world of Phantasmagoria. Unable to understand the language of Phantasmagoria’s people, Yuuto is forced against his will to take up a mystical, sentient sword and fight for a greedy king alongside the Spirits, beautiful female warriors who are treated as little more than slaves. As Yuuto learns more about his new comrades-in-arms, he may perhaps find someone to love in this strange and hostile world, though who that will be is entirely up to you. One thing is certain – that Yuuto’s eventual fate will be beyond his wildest imagining.

In addition to being a visual novel with a compelling story and colorful cast of characters, Aselia the Eternal is also a genuine RPG, featuring many hours of compelling strategy gameplay. You will form squads comprised of Spirits and Etrangers, each possessing his or her own diverse array of skills, and dispatch them to conquer enemy towns and strongholds. At the same time, you must build up your infrastructure so that you will have the resources necessary to train your units and strengthen your army.

This version of Aselia the Eternal is appropriate for all ages, and features CGs and routes that were not in the original version, to make for nine unique endings.
