[R18+] MangaGamer OVERDRIVE Visual Novel Collection 1Deardrops

The first game of the three the company recently promoted is Deardrops, which currently has a pending release date and is an uncensored eroge game with comedy and slice of life elements with a band theme to it. The game is fortunately fully voiced as well. The overall price to your credit card or wallet will be €34.95 or US$50.71 which is rather costly, but you get what seems to be a good game for your money. The games synopsis is as follows:

Suganuma Shoichi was a violinist who showed talent from a young age, and joined an orchestra abroad with great hopes for his future – until one day, when a certain incident caused him to lose everything there…… With his path as a musician sealed off, Shoichi gave up his beloved violin and returned home in despair. But having been driving out of the orchestra, he incited his father’s rage and found himself disowned, leaving him with no place left to go.

By unexpected chance, he came to be a live-in worker at a live house, and Shoichi came in contact with a world he’d never known. In this completely new environment, he meets many clumsy people who have continued to assert their individual ways of life and music. Through living together with them, he begins to string his life back together, forming new bonds and finding leads towards a new future. When Shoichi and the friends he was destined to meet overcome their pasts and the trials before them, how will they grow as individuals, let alone as a band?

A new world spreads from the live house as these musicians in their prime journey through a tale of rock ‘n roll and aim for new heights as they discover themselves deep within.

[R18+] MangaGamer OVERDRIVE Visual Novel Collection 2“Edelweiss” & “Edelweiss Eiden Fantasia” Bundle Pack

The other two OVERDRIVE releases from MangaGamer which I believe are out now are bundle packs. The first title is for their Edelweiss & Edelweiss Eiden Fantasia visual novels. This is once again an uncensored series with full voice acting in Japanese. The genre is said to be a school comedy with a focus on magic. It is currently selling from the official website for € 30.95 US$ 44.97. The synopsis for the series is below:

**Edelweiss

How hard would you study if a good GPA can take you to an erotic paradise? Kazushi Haruma and his friends are fed up with their terrible grades and even more boring school life. Just as their youthful passions were about to burst, they found out about an exchange program that promises to send the best and brightest to an all-girls school located on a remote island.

“An Island, plus women, times free reign equals sex!” For the first time in their lives, Kazushi and his friends were excited. Utilizing their barely legal, “The Cunning” strategy, they managed to earn the ticket to their dreams and manly glory. Ambition and lust begins to fill their hearts and crotches.

“You didn’t tell me about this!!!” Lying in wait for Kazushi and his friends was an unimaginable environment and a garden of women hotter than they could imagine!

**Eiden Fantasia

On a desert island in the south there lies an all-girls school where students learn the mysterious art of alchemy. This strange academy, known as Eiden Academy, is the setting of Edelweiss, a tale of laughs and tears shared between the heroines, who lived their lives free of men on this island, and Haruma Kazushi, one of the silly boys who came here to score. This is an all-new game which picks up where Edelweiss ended.

The heroines of this new story are Takase Sakura and Fujisaki Rin, two background characters who dominated the popularity polls and conquered the original heroines. This fan-disk will present an all-new story full of laughs and naughty things.

————-Sakura’s Arc——————-
“If you fall for me, you lose!” The bet is placed between Sakura and Kazushi!

Kazushi and Sakura are good friends. It was certainly more of a friendship than a romantic relationship, but that all changed with one exchange.

“If I got serious, it would be a piece of cake to make Kazushi fall for me.”
“Yeah, right! If you think you can, then go ahead and try.”

One picked a fight, the other bought it, and so their love game began. With bets riding on who will win, outsiders begin to help and sabotage both sides, getting everyone involved! Who will be the winner in the end? And what will ever happen to their true feelings?!

—————–Rin’s Arc——————–
Eiden Island threatens to sink! Will a talking Johnny save the world?

Through their work as class representatives, Kazushi and Rin have grown closer to one another. Just as they began to have feelings for each other, something terrible happens to Kazushi’s crotch! His thick Johnny grows a face…and worse, it starts speaking too!!

Kazushi takes off from school to deal with the shock, but Rin soon uncovers the change in his Johnny. She decides to help him and they begin to work towards finding a cure while keeping it out of sight. Although he has to worry about his Johnny, Kazushi begins to enjoy his secret life with Rin. Neither of them ever believed it would develop into a huge incident that shook the peace of Eiden Island…

[R18+] MangaGamer OVERDRIVE Visual Novel Collection 3“Kira Kira” & “Kira Kira Curtain Call” Bundle Pack

The final OVERDRIVE pack consists of the games Kira Kira and Kira Kira Curtain Call, in which the first game was also available as an all-ages version. This game is once again a fully voiced uncensored game that focuses on a school-comedy based around a band – if the cover art didn’t already give that away. It is slightly more expensive then the other two series mentioned in this article at € 35.95 or US$ 52.24. The synopsis for this game is as follows:

**Kira Kira

Shikanosuke Maejima is a student at the Missionary school, Oubi Academy. He doesn’t attend his club, he doesn’t put much effort in his studies, all he does is show up at his part time job; in short, his life could be better. One day, he meets a strange girl, Kirari Shiino, at work and before he knows it, they’ve formed a punk band. The band consists of Shikanosuke, Kirari, his childhood friend Chie Isurugi, and a rich but weak young lady by the name of Sarina Kashiwara. The four of them are members of the Second Literature Club, which has hardly any active members and is already scheduled to be disbanded. This band is their chance to stand out and give one final farewell at the Culture Festival.

The challenge was foolhardy, but after eccentric training they managed to succeed and rock out the peaceful Oubi Academy with their debut performance. That should have been it. They were satisfied. They should have returned to their normal lives. However, their final performance at a local Live House became a hit on the Internet and requests for their performance start flying in from far and wide. One problem: exams are coming up and their parents are opposed to the band!

Who cares!

The four of them embark on their final adventure, a long tour of Japan, armed with their dreams and their instruments, all aboard a rickety van that could fall apart at any moment.

“First stop, Nagoya!”

**Kira Kira Curtain Call

——————————Part One———————
Several years have passed since the amateur band Second Literature Club spent a summer touring Japan and performing live. When Shikanosuke and his friends graduated from Oubi Academy, the legends they left behind drew several experienced musicians to seek entry into Oubi Academy. Every year, these excellent musicians seek to join the Girls Light Music Club, which inherited the name of Shikanosuke’s band, and every year they give high quality performances rivaling the original.

Meanwhile, the Boys Light Music Club has faced nothing but decline. As a club whose only goal was to enjoy music, they’ve fallen low in comparison to the Girls Light Music Club. Honda Souta was also a member of the Boys Light Music Club, but Souta needed to put on a better performance than the Girls Light Music Club. The reason behind his drive was Yoshimoto Yui, the vocalist and guitarist of the current Second Literature Club. Yui was Souta’s unrequited love and his greatest rival who always outdid him. Souta always challenged Yui, saying, “If I can outperform you, then you’ll have to go out with me!” The stage for their contest was the upcoming Cultural Festival.

“If I can put on a better performance than the Second Literature Club, then Yui will realize how cool I am!”
Souta was full of drive, but the rest of the club was the same as ever. What will happen at the Cultural Festival? What will happen to Souta’s one-sided love?!

——————————Part Two———————
After he graduated from Oubi Academy, Murakami formed his own band, HAPPY CYCLE MANIA, just like he always wanted. The band overcame many troubles and was finally gaining ground as a popular band when a new trouble arose! Their vocalist, Aki, made her solo debut as a professional singer, leaving their band without a vocalist. Murakami thought, “Well, this happens often enough to any band in the industry. We’ll figure out something,” but he just couldn’t seem to move forward. He found himself worrying about their past, their future, and the more he worried, the more he got stuck in a slump. Murakami stopped acting like his usual self, the band grew edgy, and they began to face the threat of disbanding.

Each band member begins to think about their ideals and their dreams, but what answer will Murakami find when they all come together? What lies in store for HAPPY CYCLE MANIA and Murakami?

Many characters from the original game will appear in this grand finale to Kira Kira!
