Back in February, North American video game publisher Aksys Games confirmed they would be bringing Yasuhiro Wada’s latest simulation game, Little Dragons Cafe, to the Nintendo Switch an PlayStation 4 later this year.

A little bit different from the farm life-simulators Wada is most known for (through Harvest Moon / Story of Seasons), this follows twins as they work towards learning to cook and managing a successful cafe. Where does a dragon come into the picture? With their mother falling into a mysterious, deep sleep, they are tasked with raising a dragon to unlock a cure to the curse.

Little Dragon’s Cafe shares many of the concepts found in Wada’s earlier works – you are grow, catch or harvest crops to cook, manage your enterprise (this time a cafe) and form a rapport with your customers as you help them with their problems. There is also a creature raising component, where
“wise decisions, proper nutrition, and empathetic nurturing” will unlock “the true potential of your dragon companion”.
