World of Final Fantasy PC Port Launches on Steam

Released more than a year ago for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita, World of Final Fantasy is a crossover spin-off RPG which brings together the characters of various Final Fantasy games in a brand new narrative. While it isn’t a “pick up and play” game like Dissidia or Theatrhythm spin-offs nor an in-depth experience like a numbered instalment, World of Final Fantasy proved to be an enjoyable game with a decent story and approachable battle system. Giving PC gamers an opportunity to enjoy the game, Square Enix have confirmed that World of Final Fantasy is now available for purchase on the PC via Steam.

Even though none of them are worth rebuying the game in my opinion, this PC port introduces a number of features including:

  • Steam Trading Cards
  • Steam Achievements
  • Full support for both keyboard and controllers
  • Bonus legendary creatures and characters, including Sephiroth, Balthier, Tidus, White Chocobo, Glow Moogle and more.

Purchasing World of Final Fantasy from now until November 28th will net players a Day One Edition copy. This includes a few small goodies including a digital soundtrack sampler (containing 7 tracks) and a wallpaper “showcasing legendary FINAL FANTASY heroes and creatures”.
