Setting to take players to the “fabulous palm trees and the crystal-clear bay waters of the Tropical Island of Lagoon”, Ubisoft are set to release Trackmania 2 Lagoon on the Uplay, Steam and Maniaplanet digital distribution platforms from tomorrow (May 23rd 2017).
This release is set to feature several new additions, including a new solo campaign, a new official team game mode known as Chase and more.
A new major update for Mania planet has also recently gone live, which they claim offers “major technical improvements and engine optimisation for a faster and more powerful gaming experience”. Of note are three new features, targeted at both creators and players alike:
- A mesh modeler editor to build 3D objects directly inside the game to enrich and personalize your tracks.
- An editor to create solo campaigns, to provide other players the opportunity to enjoy your creative style in best conditions.
- Free access to the cutting-edge multiplayer channel system, an open and very simple gateway to content and activities created by the players.
