2K and Hangar 13 Begin Offering Demo for Mafia III

Almost half a year after their initial release of Mafia III on the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One – 2K Games and developer Hangar 13 have begun offering a playable demo of the open world action-adventure game. Giving  a peek into the 1960s crime drama tale, this demo covers the entire first act – which will see players experience a bank heist gone wrong – setting the stage for betrayal and revenge.

Like many other pre and post launch demos nowadays, it will be possible to pick up the story where you left off should you decide to purchase the full game. It is available on all supported platforms at this time.

The availability of this demo coincides with the launch of Mafia III’s first paid DLC titled Faster, Baby!. As you would expect, this chapter introduces new narrative and more areas to explore. This pack expands New Bordeaux with the addition of Sinclair Parish, a town west of the Bayou where Lincoln teams up with a new character, Roxy Laveau, to take down the corrupt and powerful Sheriff “Slim” Beaumont.

Faster, Baby! is the first of three main DLC offerings over the coming months – available either standalone or as part of a season pass. The other two downloadable chapters titled Stones Unturned and Signs of the Times are expected to be launch this summer.
