PC Port of Monster Monpiece to be Available from Next Month 1

Although not one of the best video games localised and released by Idea Factory International in my opinion, Monster Monpiece is special in the publisher’s history, since it was one of the first games they directly published. More than a couple of years after launching on the PlayStation Vita in 2014, Monster Monpiece will be available on the PC via Steam – following a number of other recent PlayStation –> PC ports undertaken by the company. Available through Steam, you will be able to download yourself a copy of this game from 14 March 2017.

Monster Monpiece is a card-battle strategy game which incorporates some elements into the mix. The game takes place in a world where battles are done using cards which come to life, and are undertaken on grid. The card designs are based on different female monsters, quite a few of which have fanservice appeal.

There are a few omissions and additions in this PC port of Monster Monpiece. In terms of removed content, the game will come with no multiplayer support. In return however, you will be able to take advantage of upscaled 1080p visuals and a full set of cards and artwork that were previously available only with the original Japanese release.

Monster Monpiece will be available for $19.99 USD at launch, but will come with a 25%-off launch week discount. The game will also have a separate “Deluxe Pack” add-on available for purchase, which priced at $9.99 USD, includes:

  • An original soundtrack
  • Digital Card Gallery – featuring approx. 100 pages featuring “all the card forms from the game”.
  • Rough Sketches Art Book
  • 6x PC Wallpapers
