Mobius Final Fantasy Launches on Steam, Collaboration Event Begins for Final Fantasy VII Remake

Following the game’s smartphone launches on the iOS App Store and Android Google Play store, Square Enix have confirmed their PC release of Mobius Final Fantasy. Like earlier releases, access to this game is available free-of-charge, although will offer in-game purchases for those looking to receive some perks in exchange for their money.

While PC gamers will pretty much receive the same content as their smartphone peers, this PC version does come with a few graphical perks. Namely, Mobius Final Fantasy on the PC supports 4K visuals and a 1920×1080 resolution. There are also some of the usual benefits of not gaming on smartphones, namely there being a lesser need to worry abut battery life or storage space in many incidences (Unless you are on a laptop and/or have little hard drive space remaining). In turn, there are some downsides, such as a potential lack of portability for playing.

Mobius Final Fantasy Launches on Steam, Collaboration Event Begins for Final Fantasy VII Remake 1The PC release of Mobius Final Fantasy coincides with the start of a new collaboration event involving Final Fantasy VII Remake. This event will see the city of Midgar become a playable region in the game. Running until April 1st 2017, this event will be run across three parts, which will see players join forces with Cloud to stop the Mako Reactor..

During the events of the three parts, players will be able to obtain a variety of items including a strengthened “Masamune” weapon and “Aerith Echo” by playing through the special Midgar region. This event will also introduce the SOLDIER 1st class, a warrior-type Legend job.
