Five Star Games to Now Handle Distribution of Final Fantasy XIV Online in Australia and New Zealand

With Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood on the horizon and the online game community still going strong, it has been confirmed that a new company will be handling the wider Final Fantasy XIV franchise in Australia and New Zealand from this point on.

It has been confirmed by Square Enix and the company that Five Star Games will now be handling the multi-platform online game, including the original A Realm RebornHeavensward expansion and its upcoming second expansion. For those unaware of Five Star Games, they have also handled SEGA and, more recently, Deep Silver / ATLUS games in the regions.

This agreement does not imply the distribution rights of any other Square Enix properties. Many of Square Enix’s other recent works are still being distributed in Australia and New Zealand by Bandai Namco Entertainment Australia.
