Resident Evil 7 Receives New Trailer and Demo Update

To be available on the PlayStation 4 (w/ PlayStation VR support), Xbox One and Windows PC, there is not too much longer until Resident Evil 7 biohazard’s January 24 2017 launch date. With a release creeping forward, Capcom have released a new trailer for the game, which seeks to provide new glimpses at some of the horrors awaiting main character Ethan Winters. Winters finds himself drawn to a mysterious abandoned plantation in search of his missing wife. What awaits him is not just greenery, but a range of disturbing events which will attempt to scare both him and the players.

For some time now, gamers have been able to sample the horror in a demo titled Resident Evil 7 Teaser: Beginning Hour – with Capcom mentioning that “millions of fans” have accessed it so far. With launch day drawing closer, the demo will receive a free update titled “Midnight”. Midnight will open up new paths and previously unincluded content.

The Midnight update is now available on the PlayStation 4 (w/ Pro and VR support), and will subsequently be available on the Xbox One from December 9 and Windows PC (via Steam) as of December 19.

Published by Capcom, Resident Evil 7 biohazard will be available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC from January 24th 2017.
