New Song DLC to Launch for The Idolm@ster: Cinderella Girls Viewing Revolution Next Month: Atashi Ponkotsu Android

To coincide with the PlayStation VR’s launch in Japan, Bandai Namco launched The Idolm@ster: Cinderella Girls Viewing Revolution for the platform. While not available for purchase outside of Japan, this is a game somewhat similar to Hatsune Miku: VR Future Live, where players sit in an auditorium and watch characters perform on-stage. In this title, characters from the Cinderella Girls line of Idolm@ster mobile game perform before your very eyes. It is the next step from Bandai Namco’s smartphone release of The Idolm@ster: Cinderella Girls Starlight Stage – which has more than 100 of the idols performing in 3D.

At the moment, content in The Idolm@ster: Cinderella Girls Viewing Revolution is limited. For its purchase price of 2,480 yen, you receive three songs: Yes! Party Time!! (An early purchase bonus), Star!! and Onegai! Cinderella. While you can see these songs from different angles, to date the only downloadable content has not been song related.

Bandai Namco have recently shared the above video, which highlights that new DLC will be rolling out on November 16th 2016. While pricing is not yet known, they have confirmed the featured song will be Atashi Ponkotsu Android (アタシポンコツアンドロイド), and will feature at least Anzu Futaba, Miku Maekawa and Miho Kohinata on-stage.

The Idolm@ster: Cinderella Girls Viewing Revolution is part of my upcoming PlayStation VR review suite, set to roll out this week.
