As the release date for Persona 5 draws ever closer, ATLUS have released an additional two gameplay trailers for their long-awaited JRPG.
The first of these videos focuses on a core component of the game’s battle system – actually using Persona’s in battle. To generally be used whenever you don’t wish to use a normal close-range/ranged weapon, this is how you will use special skills which take advantage of enemy weaknesses, boost your own stats and reduce the abilities of enemies.
The second of these videos focuses on the fishing mini-game, which makes a return from a somewhat similar system present in Persona 4.
Developed by ATLUS and being released on the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4, Persona 5 is set to be released from September 15 2016 in Japan. This will be followed by an English release from Valentine’s Day 2017.
