Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Receives October 2016 Release Date

Developed by Dimps and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment, Dragon Ball Xenoverse was another video game adaptation in the long-running Dragon Ball media franchise. From my perspective the fighting game received mixed reviews, but ultimately there seems to have been enough demand for a sequel – with Bandai Namco confirming in May that Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is currently in development.

Earlier this week, the publisher shared a new trailer titled “Restore the History”, which over two minutes highlights snippets of both storyline and gameplay. There is also a surprise following the logo being displayed at the end of the video, so don’t stop it prematurely! You can view this video above.

But perhaps even more important than this video, is a confirmation of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2‘s release date. Bandai Namco Entertainment have confirmed the fighting game will be available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC starting October 28th 2016. They have also confirmed that more information regarding Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will be rolling out “shortly”.
