Although at 25,000 yen it could hardly be considered cheap, Star Ocean 5: Integrity and Faithlessness is set to receive an “Ultimate Box” limited edition in Japan. This collection is available for purchase via the Square Enix Japan Online Store, and comes in both PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 variants.
This set includes a copy of the game on either format, a 210mm figure of Miki (One of the main heroines), an 80p ‘The Art of Star Ocean’ artbook, a special soundtrack spread over five discs, eight postcards with illustrations/CG artwork, a plastic Pangalactic Federation ID Card with unique serial number, a DLC download code which will enable you to change the background music to that of earlier titles in the Star Ocean series and distinct packaging.
Star Ocean 5: Integrity and Faithlessness is set for release in Japan beginning February 25 2016. An international release has also been confirmed, but currently holds a general “2016” launch window.
