Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls Now Available in Europe, Australia/New Zealand Soon

-

Following their release of Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls in North American markets a few days back, Nippon Ichi Software America have now confirmed that the action adventure spin-off title is now available for purchase in European markets.

According to the websites of EB Games and JB Hi-fi, the game will be distributed by Bandai Namco Entertainment Australia in Australia beginning September 10 2015. Like both of the main Danganronpa video games / visual novels, this title is available through both physical and digital channels exclusively on the PlayStation Vita.

Initially developed by Spike Chunsoft, Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls shifts the gameplay mechanics from a 2D murder-mystery visual novel style to a Danganronpa-fied 3D action adventure. The game will only feature English voice acting out of the box, but NIS America will be offering Japanese voice acting free as downloadable content.

For more information on this title, I encourage you to check out the review I wrote for it last month, which can be found HERE.

Official Blurb for Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls

Komaru Naegi, little sister to Makoto Naegi, has been imprisoned inside a mysterious apartment for over a year. One day, she is rescued by Byakuya Togami of Future Foundation, but the rescue is derailed by a sudden attack of hundreds of Monokumas. Komaru soon discovers that the city has been taken over by a group of children calling themselves the Warriors of Hope. Their leader, Monaca, declares that the city will be the site of a “children’s paradise,” and to accomplish this, all the adults will be exterminated. Komaru teams up with Toko Fukawa to try to survive the rampaging Monokumas, escape the crafty Monokuma Kids, and uncover the secrets of the city.
