Four Characters Featured in First Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax Character Trailer

-

The team at SEGA have shared their first character trailer for upcoming fighting game Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax, a crossover game featuring many characters from media franchises published under the Dengeki Bunko imprint in Japan. Quite a few of the characters in this game will be familiar to even the more mainstream anime fans in Japan (With titles including Sword Art Online, DuRaRaRa!! and A Certain Magical Index), while there are those that will be lesser known and based on more niche titles (With titles including Ro-Kyu-Bu! and The Irregular at Magic High School).

This first character trailer introduces four characters – each of whom will be playable in-game. Granted there is not a lot that can be crammed into just one minute, but it does highlight a bit about each character’s special moves. Further information on the four characters can be found below:

Asuna – Knights of the Blood Sub-Leader (Sword Art Online)
The sub-leader of the Knights of the Blood, the strongest guild in Aincrad. Her nickname is “The Flash” due to her speed with her rapier, Lambent Light. Kirito is her boyfriend. Asuna is seen in the trailer with Leafa as an assist character.

Kuroyukihime – World’s End (Accel World)
The Umezato Jr. High student council V.P. She’s nicknamed Kuroyukihime, or “Snow Black,” because of her beauty. Her Brain Burst avatar is Black Lotus and she is Legion Master of the Nega Nebulas. Kuroyukihime is seen in the trailer with Haruyuki Arita as an assist character.

Tomoka Minato – Junior Athlete (Ro-Kyu-Bu!)
A basketball ace at Keishin Academy. Her mother does traditional dance and her father is a tea master, so her manners are impeccable. But when she starts to play basketball… Tomoka Minato is seen in the trailer with Hinata Hakamada is an assist character.

Shizuo Heiwajima – Toughest Man in Ikebukuro (DuRaRaRa!!)
A debt collector who dresses like a bartender. He hates violence, but when he loses his temper, he’s the strongest man in Ikebukuro. Flying vending machines are a clue that he’s around. Shizuo Heiwajima is seen in the trailer with Celty as an assist character.

Developed by Ecole Software and French Bread, Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax is set for release on the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita starting October 6 2015.
