Following on from the success of the Attack on Titan manga, light novel and anime series; ATLUS USA have confirmed they will be working alongside Spike Chunsoft to bring the Nintendo 3DS exclusive video game, Attack on Titan: Humanity in Chains, to international markets.
This game will see players defending three walls from invading titans as a member of the elite Scout Regiment, with their omni-directional mobility gear and blades ready to take down any threats. The game will feature many familiar faces for players to work with including Eren Jaeger and Mikasa Ackermann. The cast will be joined by several new additions to the Scout Regiment, featuring customizable costumes, weapons and voices.
Attack on Titan: Humanity in Chains is currently set for release in both North America and (Gasp!) PAL regions in May 2015. In what may be disappointing for some fans, this will be a Nintendo eShop exclusive title, with no retail release planned. More specifics in terms of a release date and pricing will be confirmed in the coming weeks.
