XSEED Games have today announced their plans to release the previously PlayStation console exclusive video game, Akiba’s Trip, on the PC via digital download.
For release later this year via the Steam digital distribution service, this PC edition is set to feature both Steam achievements and USB controller support. This is in addition to the built-in Visual Editor system which was previously exclusive to the enhanced PlayStation 4 port of Akiba’s Trip. The Visual Editor makes it possible to alter the game’s visuals in a number of profound ways, through the use of preset visual filters or individual toggles and sliders for each aspect of the game’s lighting and rendering systems. There is no word if other PlayStation 4 features including the unique livestream features and the “Toybox Mode” will be included.
Originally developed by the Japanese studio ACQUIRE, Akiba’s Trip: Undead & Undressed is set to launch on the PC worldwide from later this year. It is still possible to readily buy the game on each the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita systems.
Ah I was wondering what they were tweeting about yesterday, I already own the Vita port so I’ll be passing on this one.
