As someone who has lived the life of a scientist, I can tell you that it can mean plenty of time stewing over complex outcomes, incredibly long hours and the quick formation of an addiction to coffee or energy drinks (or perhaps this was my experience). Hoping to highlight a more fun side of science in the Sim Universe, Electronic Arts and Maxis have opted to completely open up the Science field in their The Sims 4 Get to Work expansion pack for The Sims 4.
Rather than sitting at a lab bench for hours, you will guide and watch your Sims as they conduct experiments, mine collectibles, produce serums which come with special effects and create some distinct inventions after having a “Eureka!” moment. Sure the lab may be a culmination of various scientific cliches, but it is clear that you will be doing more than just sitting around idle while your Sims go about a boring desk job.
The Sims 4 Get to Work is the first expansion pack for the latest generation of The Sims franchise, which last month celebrated its 15th anniversary. This expansion pack will be available from an unspecified date in April 2015.
