Release date delays for video games are not uncommon as development pressures warrant a little bit of extra time to deliver an experience worth of a gamer’s attention. What is rare to see however a release date being pushed forward, particularly with the Easter Long Weekend falling a bit earlier than usual this year.
After promoting the expansion pack for release in “April 2015” as late as earlier this week, Electronic Arts have today confirmed that The Sims 4 Get to Work will be available for purchase from March 31st 2015. This edition will be available on both PC and Mac platforms.
The Sims 4 Get to Work is the very first full-scale expansion pack for The Sims 4 which launched last year. This pack will allow your Sims to take up three new career routes which have enterable lots, and where the player’s actions can have in impact on their job performance. These three career paths are doctor, scientist and detective. This element of the pack is comparable to The Sims 3: Ambitions, which let players undertake careers as architectural designers, firefighters, ghost hunters, investigators and stylists.
Get to Work will also allow players to open retail stores similar to The Sims 2: Open For Business. Retail stores buildable and runnable include retail outlets, boutiques, bakeries and a photography studio
