With the expansion pack’s release date now locked in, Square Enix have confirmed that pre-orders for their Collector’s, All-in-One and Standard edition releases of Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward are now open.
All set to be available from the pack’s official release date (June 23rd 2015), and pre-ordering the game will come with a handful of special bonuses which will not be available post-launch. These bonus goodies include three in-game items (Baron Circle, Baron Earrings and a Chocobo Chick Courier Minion) and early access to Heavensward (June 19th 2015) provided the player as completed Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn’s main storyline.
The Collector’s Edition, priced at a whopping $129.99 USD (Compared to $39.99 USD for the Standard Physical Edition) comes with a “Dragonsong War” exclusive box featuring artwork by Yoshitaka Amano, a Dragon Mount figure, an artbook, a movie Blu-ray disc and an assortment of additional in-game items including: a Flying Griffin Mount, Dark Knight Cecil-themed Baron Helm, Wind-Up Kain Minion and ‘Fantasia’.
Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward will be available on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and Windows PC platforms. A Mac OS version of the title will also be available as a digital all-in-one bundle.
