Continuing to showcase the character classes in their upcoming JRPG release of Etrian Mystery Dungeon, ATLUS USA have shifted their attention to the Sovereign class.
Similar to the Hexer, Dancer and Ninja classes; these descendants of royalty specialize in stat alteration and buffs. These party members are able to cast buff and protection skills on their allies, while also having the heavy armour required to stand their ground while supporting fellow party members.
This is the eighth character class which ATLUS USA have focused on in recent weeks, previously previewing the “typical warrior class” Landsknecht, the “tank” Protector, your traditional “Black Mage” the RuneMaster, the “White Mage” Medic class, the ranged-attacking Gunner, the rhythmic and talented Dancer, the ominous Hexer and the deadly Ninja.
ATLUS USA confirmed that they will be bringing Etrian Mystery Dungeon exclusively to the Nintendo 3DS from April 7th 2015. Unfortunately, no PAL region release date has currently been locked in. But if previous games are any indication, Nippon Ichi Software America will be working on a European / Australian / New Zealand release somewhere down the track.
