Following its console launch quite a few weeks ago, Team Ninja and Koei Tecmo have announced that their fighting game Dead or Alive 5: Last Round is now available for purchase via the Steam digital distribution service. This marks the very first time that the franchise has been available to play on PC.

While containing almost exactly the same features as the original console release, the PC edition also features support for resolutions up to 4K in addition to antialiasing compatibility. Unfortunately, online multiplayer is currently unavailable. A patch to introduce this functionality is in the works and will be released within three months of launch.

Dead or Alive 5: Last Round is being sold at a price of $39.99 USD. Until the multiplayer patch is added, Koei Tecmo are slashing 10% off the price ($35.99). Those looking at a console edition can nab themselves a retail or digital copy on the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and/or Xbox One.
