NIS America Delay Operation Abyss: New Tokyo Legacy Until June – Release New Trailer/Screenshots

-

After originally slating the game for release in April 2015, US-based video game publisher Nippon Ichi Software America have confirmed that Operation Abyss: New Tokyo Legacy is being held back until June 9th in North America and June 5th in PAL regions. Despite this delay, the PlayStation Vita exclusive dungeon-crawling RPG will still be available via retail outlets and the PlayStation Store as a physical and digital copy respectively.

To complement this delay announcement, NIS America have decided to share both their first trailer for the game and a handful of screenshots, with the screenshots showcasing some of the different customization options available in-game.

For more information on Operation Abyss: New Tokyo Legacy, check out the official synopsis below:

With the city under the constant threat of Variants—genetically engineered monsters—and the emergence of portals leading to a mysterious dimension called the Abyss, the government has established the Code Physics Agency to investigate these mysterious phenomena. The Xth Squad—a unique group of teens modified by the CPA’s Code technology—must evade traps, face down powerful monsters, and investigate the mystery behind the Abyss.
