Nintendo Australia to Restock Limited Quantities of Hard-to-Find Amiibo’s

After launching in Australia and New Zealand back in November 2014, with several subsequent batches, gamers have begun finding that certain amiibo’s were selling out and hard to find for their collection. However hoping to assist those looking to complete their collection, Nintendo Australia have announced that they will be replenishing store stock with limited quantities of select amiibo’s, with some figures to be sourced from other regions featuring non-AU/NZ packaging.

With 29 amiibo’s currently on store shelves and multiple new batches currently in production, with releases slated for March (New Models for Mario, Luigi, Peach, Bowser, Toad) and a new batch of six (Robin, Lucina, Charizard, PAC-MAN, Ness and Wario) set for release in April, it is likely that production won’t be maintained for every figure made at this rate. It seems like Nintendo Australia are offering a reprieve for those who weren’t early adopters and wish to own every/their favourite character. Although if this happens a second time down the line is questionable.

No set date other than “in the coming months” has been given for these amiibo’s to be available.
