New Features Announced and Trailers Released for Total War: ATTILA

-

With Creative Assembly’s next instalment in their Total War franchise, Total War: ATTILA, set to hit store shelves from February 17th 2015, new details have recently begun trickling out for the strategy game.

In one of their recent announcements, Creative Assembly announced “Total War Chronicles”, a free web-based application on the game’s official website which will allow players to view, create and share their campaign stories for the game. With the click of a button in-game, players will be able to upload a detailed log of all the key events that have occurred within their campaign to date. Total War Chronicles will automatically receive, process and display this data so players can then log in to website and look back over the trials and triumphs of their game.

The app is set to include a range of interactive features which seeks to aid players in exploring each of their ‘chapters’. They will be able to name, tag and lay out the cornerstones of their strategy by adding personalized commentary throughout their campaign timelines.

In addition to announcing a new feature for the game, The Creative Assembly have also provided a look at the Hunic Conquest via their “Ashen Horse” trailer. More information on this can be found in the video’s official description below:

The Huns’ expert horsemanship makes them formidable foes. In battle, their combination of ranged attacks and the speed at which they can cover ground is breath-taking – and terrifying – to behold. In Total War: ATTILA the Huns’ starting hordes are strong, but need time to grow before they become a major force with which to scour the world. With their unique, unrelenting faction traits, the Huns could develop into an overwhelming force with the right guiding hand. They will need a legendary leader… will it be you?

Developed by The Creative Assembly and published by Sega (Five Star Games in Australia), Total War: ATTILA is set for release on February 17th 2015 exclusively on the PC.
