Introducing the Dancer Class of Etrian Mystery Dungeon

-

Dancer_FemaleHaving introduced most of the general classes in previous weeks, ATLUS USA have today shifted their attention to one of the “specialty” classes you can adopt to your party in Etrian Mystery Dungeon. Although those not familiar with the “Dancer” class may think of it as a very niche or even useless class, its abilities transcend one specific class.

Not only can these sword-swinging beauties deal respectable damage themselves, they are able to provide numerous buffs to themselves and other party members. Different dances will allow them to raise an ally’s attack power, change turn order or even heal their entire party. However, don’t expect them to survive against swarms of enemies however – which are more for the Landsknecht’s and Protector’s to deal with.

This is the fifth character class which ATLUS USA have focused on in recent weeks, previously previewing the “typical warrior class” Landsknecht, the “tank” Protector, your traditional “Black Mage” the RuneMaster, the “White Mage” Medic class and the ranged-attacking Gunner.

ATLUS USA confirmed that they will be bringing Etrian Mystery Dungeon exclusively to the Nintendo 3DS from April 7th 2015. Unfortunately, no PAL region release date has currently been locked in. But if previous games are any indication, Nippon Ichi Software America will be working on a European / Australian / New Zealand release somewhere down the track.
