North American video game publisher Idea Factory International have today confirmed their retail and digital release of Hyperdevotion Noire: Goddess Black Heart on the PlayStation Vita in North America. This release will be followed by a similar one in PAL Regions, with retail copies to begin making their way out to retailers on February 27th, followed by a digital release on March 4th.
This is the second spin-off Hyperdimension Neptunia game released to the international market, although unlike the first which was a sub-par idol raising game, this is actually a tactical/strategy RPG which uses some elements from the core RPG franchise. While featuring some familiar faces, the game follows Noire of an alternate world known as Gamarket – with many new characters based on video games and companies joining your party.
The CPUs of each of the four nations are locked in heated battle against one another for dominion over this world. Just as Noire is one step away from complete domination, the CPUs are suddenly robbed of their powers by an unknown force. Now in order to save the world from destruction, the four CPUs must unite Gamarket and defeat the onslaught!
