Evolve – Single-Player Experience Trailer

-

To me, Evolve has always given off the impression that it is primarily about the multiplayer experience – with gameplay that seems to better suit working or going up against live players rather than the computer. Hoping to disprove impressions like this, 2K Games have today released a new trailer for Evolve which highlights the “solo experience”.

It the video’s impressive 22 and a half minute runtime, gamers are invited to watch two matches of the ‘Defend’ game mode, played solo from both the Monster and Hunter perspective as the other player spots are filled by AI. In fact, playing solo as a Hunter gives the added perk of being able to hot-swap instantly between each different class as the situation demands it.

2K Games and Turtle Rock Studios have claimed that “all” of the gameplay content in Evolve will be available through both single and multi player modes.

Developed by Turtle Rock Studios and published by 2K Games, Evolve is set for release on the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on February 10th 2015.
