Providing their greatest look into the world and characters of The Awakened Fate Ultimatum, Nippon Ichi Software America have shared a set of three trailers for the upcoming dungeon crawling RPG. The game will be available exclusively on the PlayStation 3 through retail and digital channels in North America from March 17th 2015 and PAL regions from March 20th 2015.
The first trailer, available above, highlights the basic plot of The Awakened Fate Ultimatum:
On the day he was killed by demons, Shin has the Awaken Fate Crystal inserted into his chest and becomes God. Thrusted into the war between angels and devils, Shin acts as God, making “Ultimate Decisions” and must face the consequences of those actions. In the end, Shin must make the ultimate decision to save only one of the two girls closest to him. Which will you pick – Ariael or Jupiel?
The second trailer is split up into two parts, with each giving a look at one of the two main female characters in The Awakened Fate Ultimatum. These videos focus on Ariael and Jupiel, who guide Shin through his trials as God. Ariael is the devil scientist who saves Shin’s live and ultimately makes him God, while Jupiel is the designated angel who helps train him.
The Awakened Fate Ultimatum
Several years after a certain revolution came to pass, and the powerful Satanael was defeated, the devils were still dominant in their constant war against the angels. Meanwhile, a certain Celestia was resorting to guerilla warfare to survive. The angels focused on researching a way to create a “God” to use as their ultimate weapon against the devils. After creating the “Fate Awakening Crystal,” which can turn a human into God, the angels awaited the day to find someone who would be compatible.
Walking home from school in the human world, a boy is attacked and stabbed through the heart by a group of devils. As he lay dying, his life is saved by a mysterious girl. He wakes up in an unfamiliar location—Celestia. As if guided by the Fate Awakening Crystal implanted in his chest, he finds himself thrust into the middle of the war between angels and devils. He must harness his newly awakened powers, choose how to use them, and ultimately decide which of the two new girls in his life he will do anything to save…
