While Nippon Ichi Software America stopped directly localizing and publishing the Atelier franchise after Atelier Meruru was launched, the company has never been able to fully distance themselves from the popular JRPG series. In collaboration with Koei Tecmo, they will be releasing a Limited Edition of Atelier Shallie: Alchemists of the Dusk Sea starting March 10th 2015 in North America and March 13th 2015 in Europe.
Now available for purchase via their official online store at a price of $64.99 USD, this collection includes a copy of Atelier Shallie on the PlayStation 3, a 48-page full-colour hardcover artbook, an original soundtrack CD with jewel case, Atelier Shallie poster (16″ x 24″) and a side-loading limited edition Collector’s Box to store everything in. As of this post, the Limited Edition collection is unavailable through NIS America’s European online store.
Atelier Shallie: Alchemists of the Dusk Sea was originally developed by Gust, and is being published in North America and Europe by each regions respective Koei Tecmo branch. In Australia and New Zealand, the team at Mindscape will once again be handling distribution.
