Job Listings Indicate That Blade & Soul Has Not Been Forgotten in the West

If you have forgotten about the Blade & Soul online game from NCSoft / Team Bloodlust then you could be forgiven, as aside from keeping the game’s logo up on the website, NCSoft haven’t been too vocal about the game either. Or more specifically, almost silent since December 2012 (When the game’s official website was last updated).

This “martial arts” MMORPG has been released in multiple regions over the past two and a half years, most recently in Japan (Around the same time that the anime adaptation began airing) and Taiwan. After all this waiting, it seems like Western markets are finally going to have a chance to try out this game… at an unspecified date in the future.

Unfortunately details are very limited as no announcement has been announced regarding Blade & Soul. However a listing on NCSoft’s jobs page indicates that they are recruiting a Senior Brand Manager and Senior Community Manager specifically for Blade & Soul at their Orange County, CA offices. Given they are now recruiting the community team, hopefully it isn’t too much longer until we hear more.
