Wrapping up their Persona releases for the year, ATLUS USA have today confirmed that Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth is now available for purchase in North America – to be followed by European and Australian releases in the coming weeks. For the first time, every party member from Persona 3 and Persona 4 are playable, as both S.E.E.S. and the Investigation Team are plunged into an alternate world reminiscent of Yasogami High School. Trapped during a culture festival where every display is a sprawling labyrinth, the groups must find a way out of this strange world, while at the same time assisting two new characters: Rei and Zen who have themselves become trapped.

ATLUS USA have confirmed their DLC release schedule, which consists of sub-personas (Additional sub-Personas that will show up in the Persona compendium after purchasing it) and Navigator voices (Which can be used to replace Rise and Fuuka). A full schedule can be found below:

  • 12/2 – Orpheus Telos – Free

Boost: When you exploit an enemy’s weakness or get a crit, characters get the Boost ability, which reduces the HP or SP cost of their abilities to zero for one turn

Group Attacks: Characters have a chance to do a follow-up attack after normal attacks. Plus, if you get enough people in your party boosted, you can launch an all-out-attack!

Summoning Personas: The bread and butter of combat in Persona Q is from Personas and sub-Personas. Making sure the abilities complement the people in your party is crucial to victory!

Strolls: Persona Q isn’t all about fighting! Between battles, you can walk around the school with other characters and learn more about them.
