Capcom have reaffirmed their commitment to launching Ultra Street Fighter IV at both retail outlets and through digital distribution stores from tomorrow in Australia and New Zealand. This release covers the PlayStation 3, Xbox360 and PC platforms, with no plans to bring the 2.5D fighting game to current generation consoles. Players who purchase the retail versions (PS3, Xbox 360) or full digital bundles (PS3, PC) will receive all previously released costumes for the Street Fighter IV series.
In Ultra Street Fighter IV, Poison, Hugo, Elena, Rolento and Decapre join the fight, complete with new animations and their own unique play styles, bringing the final roster count to a massive 44 characters. Six new battle environments seek to provide a thrilling and colorful backdrop to the action. Capcom claim that direct fan feedback was gathered and integrated on all 39 characters from the earlier Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition and the core system mechanics in order to provide a more balanced experience than ever before.
