Continuing a trend of premature launch trailers, Electronic Arts have shared their one for upcoming life-simulation game The Sims 4, which is set to succeed The Sims 3 after 11 expansion packs and 9 stuff packs between 2009-2013. To be released on the PC from early-September 2014, this starts a new generation of the franchise with many improvements but unfortunately several core-game features omitted at least at launch.
Rather than focusing on the new build/buy/share tools which all seem to have had major improvements over TS3, this trailer focuses on the different lives of Sims. The necessity of hashtags such as #Diva and #OddBall in the video is questionable however…
While it seems like Electronic Arts are keeping copies of the game close to their chest until launch, expect a full review on The Otaku’s Study when the game launches in Australia next month.
