While Sony PlayStation consoles may have surpassed the Nintendo consoles many years ago in terms of dominating the RPG market, this is not to say that the 3DS/Wii/Wii U combo hasn’t offered their share of gems. Despite being released near the end of the Wii’s lifecycle, one of the best RPG’s launched on the console was Monolith Soft’s 2010/2011 title Xenoblade Chronicles.
Amongst all the other popular Nintendo franchises included in Super Smash Bros. (3DS / Wii U), Xenoblade Chronicles has been confirmed to have a representative enter the fray. Nintendo have today confirmed that main character Shulk will be appearing in the fighting game on both consoles.
