Not even waiting to see just how successful Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 1 is in Western markets, Idea Factory International have confirmed that they will be localizing and publishing Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 2: Sisters Generation for the PlayStation Vita. To be released from early-2015, the publisher is confident enough in their fanbase that they will be doing digital AND physical releases in North America AND PAL regions. Further clarification about Australia / New Zealand is being sought.

Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 2: Sisters Generation is an enhanced remake of Hyperdimension Neptunia Mk.2, first published internationally by Nippon Ichi Software America back in 2012. This edition will feature new playable characters (Including all four Oracles), an enhanced battle system, new story and more.

20XX – Gamindustri faces a dire crisis. Shops are boarded up, creators are overworked and starving, and death looms over all Gamindustrimen. But the CPUs refuse to let this be game over for their world! Gamindustri had severed its ties to the chaotic Lawless Realm long ago, and yet… Ever since the advent of ASIC – the Arfoire Syndicate of International Crime – morality has all but vanished. As much as 80 percent of all students are rumored to worship a being known as Arfoire. Parents, despite knowing it to be a poor deity to worship, have gone ahead and allowed their children to do so. Even the governing bodies of the world have turned a blind eye to it, rather than crush the crisis in its infancy. Well, basically, Gamindustri was pretty messed up, you guys. Ahem. Thus did Gamindustri fall into complete and utter disarray. Those who tire of living in this corrupt world are sent to wander the Gamindustri Graveyard, forever lost.

  1. Excellent! It will definitely be released to Australia and New Zealand (if Re:Birth 1 can be localised, so can this!)! I mean, there are a few Neptunia fans (including me) who want more of these games! I have a feeling that it will be a digital release for us Aussies and New Zealanders next year but its better than nothing! I hope the OFLC will keep the same rating like they did with mk2… Good thing I invested in a PS Vita already!
