Dragon Quest IV: Chapters of the Chosen Hits iOS and Android Platforms

-

With almost everyone classic Final Fantasy game now available on iOS and Android devices, what is Square Enix supposed to port over to smartphone and tablet platforms now? Following what they have called a “successful” launch of Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King on mobile devices a few months back, Square Enix have confirmed that they have jumped back a few games and ported  Dragon Quest IV: Chapters of the Chosen to Android and iOS devices.

The first installment in the Zenithian Trilogy, Dragon Quest  IV: Chapters of the Chosen features an adventure that unfolds over five unique chapters – each focused on a different cast of characters on a journey to save the world. In the far-flung corners of the globe, players get to experience each storyline from the perspective of the “Hero’s” future companions, with the fifth chapter told directly from the “Hero’s” standpoint.

While the main game remains intact, a few amendments and features have been introduced to the mobile port including “Party Talk” where players can talk with their allies on the field, touchscreen controls and more.

As always, Dragon Quest IV: Chapters of the Chosen is available at the premium price of $14.99 via the Google Play and iOS App Store.

DRAGON QUEST IV: Chapters of the Chosen really encapsulates all the JRPG elements DRAGON QUEST fans covet – a fascinating story combined with classic RPG gameplay. Given the title’s immense success on other platforms, we knew that re-releasing it for mobile devices was inevitable. Our fans can now re-live this compelling tale in one standalone package with 40-plus hours of battles, mysteries and a delightful ensemble of characters.
