Remember Me developer DONTNOD Entertainment alongside Square Enix have today announced a new partnership, to work on delivering a brand new episodic, digitally delivered, narrative-driven game titled Life is Strange.
The game takes place in the fictional town of Arcadia Bay, Oregon, where senior student Max Caulfield returns after a 5 year absence. Reunited with her former friend Chloe, the pair will attempt to uncover the uncomfortable truth behind the mysterious disappearance of fellow student Rachel Amber. At the beginning of the game however, it is discovered that Max has the ability to turn back time. This grants her, and in turn the player, the ability to affect the game’s narrative and change the course of history itself.
While no release date has been provided, it is confirmed that Life is Strange will be released on the Windows PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox360 and Xbox One video game platforms.
