Ever since the launch of The Sims 3, its official downloadable content store ‘The Sims 3 Store’ has provided a number of rather interesting objects, clothes and hairstyles… at a cost. While there have been releases almost every month post-launch, SimGuruTaterTot has announced that their August 2014 set of downloadable content will be their last. The team will presumably move towards the final development and additional content creation for The Sims 4 which launches in early-September 2014.

While it isn’t as significant as their launch of The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection, the team have put together a complementary and celebratory collection of sportswear as a “thank you” gift. This set is available via the store HERE for everyone with a registered account and copy of the game.

The store will remain open indefinitely in the future, with SimPoints being non-transferable and only redeemable in The Sims 3 Store.
