With the official 2014 Pokémon World Championships set to kick off from mid-August, The Pokemon Company International have launched their dedicated website for the event. Taking place August 16-17 in Washington, DC, the event will be streamed live on the official site via the Twitch service, featuring a full day of select Pokémon TCG and video game matches on Saturday, August 16 and all three divisions, six matches total, of the final Pokémon TCG and video game matches on Sunday, August 17. They hope that fans unable to attend the event will be able to watch “Pokemon Trainers” from more than 30 countries around the world battle for scholarships, prizes and the title of Pokemon World Champion.
