Japanese video game developer Compile Heart have shared the above new trailer for upcoming Hyperdimension Neptunia spin-off game Chojigen Action Neptune U. Unlike their last video which was simply an opening sequence, they have actually provided their first look at actual gameplay footage, which some might recognize as being inspired by the Dynasty Warriors series.
Being developed exclusively for the PlayStation Vita, Chojigen Action Neptune U is set for release in Japan on August 28th, 2014. No international publisher has been confirmed, but it should only be a short time until either Idea Factory International or Nippon Ichi Software America announce their plans for the series.
Let’s just hope it is better than Hyperdimension Neptunia: Producing Perfection.
