Taking the stage during the early hours of San Diego Comic-Con this weekend, 343 Industries Community Manager Andy ‘Bravo’ Dudynsky, Franchise Director Frank O’Connor and Senior Producer Dennis Ries joined Certain Affinity President Max Hoberman and Blur Studios’ Franck Balson revealed new details on Halo: The Master Chief Collection. Set for release later this year exclusively on the Xbox One, Halo: The Master Chief Collection will feature remastered editions of Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary in addition to Halo 2/3/4.
The panel showcased the completely re-mastered campaign of “Halo 2: Anniversary” and revealed an all-new re-imagined competitive multiplayer map in the fan-favorite of “Zanzibar”. “Zanzibar” joins the multiplayer maps of “Ascension” and “Coagulation” as the third of six re-imagined “Halo 2” multiplayer maps found in Halo: The Master Chief Collection. The next map will be revealed this August at gamescom.
