Been considering the prospect of returning to the world of Final Fantasy: A Realm Reborn but need a bit more persuading to have you go either way? Square Enix have just announcing the commencement of a free weekend for the game on PC, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 platforms. This event will run from now until Monday, July 21st at 12AM (PDT), but unfortunately will be limited to those who have previously purchased and registered Final Fantasy XIV, and those whose service account is set as “inactive” during the course of this event.
The hope is to get more players interested in some of the new Patch 2.3 update features, including the three-faction PvP mode ‘Frontline’ and Chocobo Raising.
